Wreckage of industrial area, damaged machinery, smashed railroad cars; human skull and bones; twisted rails. Penitentiary almost totally destroyed. Broken tiles melted from heat of bomb; trees broken at their bases. Wreckage of concrete building; cracks in wall. Detailed shots of crumbling walls; human skulls and skeletons. VS, 1,000 centimeters from epicenter: Bent trolley wire poles, burned trees and underbrush. Buildings completely burned and demolished. Varying degrees of damage to concrete and wooden schools. Twisted steel frames of buildings and complete destruction of Mitsubishi Steel plant. Urakami railroad station gutted by fire. Wreckage of Sanno Shrine. One shot shows half of Torii Gateway blown off.
