Résumé Reel 1, "Camel" bombers of the 148th Aero Squadron take off from and land at Berques, Fr. Shows squadron personnel. Bombs are fused and loaded onto planes at the bombing school in Clermont. Shows details of the bomb-release mechanism. Aerial cameras are inspected. Students practice bombing runs at the Cazaux school. 99th Squadron planes are prepared for a flight and take off at Dogneville. Reel 2, a Spad and a DH-4 race. Very signals are dropped at Baccarat to infantry units. A field at Vathimenil is leveled. 185th Aero Squadron Sopwith planes are warmed up at night. Members pose with units: 132nd, 12th, 13th, 103rd, 1st, and 23rd Aero Squadrons and the 9th Recon. Squad. Reel 3, British observation planes and Spads are tuned up for flights. Planes land at Mathay. Airplanes are repaired. Wrecked planes are dismantled and the parts salvaged. 258th and 147th Squadron pilots pose; 185th and 135th Squadron pilots and bases are shown. Gen. Bullard reviews the 4th Pursuit Group. Gen. Mitchell awards the D.S.C. to Col. L. H. Brereton and members of the 12th, 91st, and 94th Aero Squadrons at Coblenz, Germany.
