Summary This valuable document is an interview with the three Moses sisters—Ethel, Julia, and Lucia Lynn—conducted by historian Pearl Bowser as part of her oral history archiving project, which brought together more than 200 documents and testimonies focused on significant African American figures. Recorded in 1978, when the sisters were around 70 years old, the video captures them reflecting on their memories as choristers and dancers at Harlem’s famous Cotton Club and, in the case of the first two, on their past careers as starlets in race films.
